Graveside Visitation
services for Ms. Doris LaCaze will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 , from 12 noon – 1:00 pm, at Leesville Memorial Cemetery, Sawyer Road, Leesville, LA.

Doris was born October 1, 1942, in Leesville, LA, to Levi and Aline
Riggs Brooks. She was educated at the Vernon Parish Training School and at early age, joined Ellen Burr Baptist Church. Doris left the area after she married but later returned home to Leesville. She worked as a Greeter at the local Walmart where she
was fondly referred to as “Ms. Doris”. She loved to have fun.

Doris departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.

She was preceded in death by
her parents, three sisters, Lillie M. Sibley, Ethel D. Blunt, Lee Ethel Patterson; four brothers, Mitchell “Doc” Brooks Sr., Frank L. Brooks, John & Otis Brooks; husband, Robert Howard Sr.; children, Robert Howard Jr., Doretha Howard, Curtis
Howard, and Glenn Howard.

She leaves to mourn her passing a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions,
Graveside Burial Services will be open to immediate family and close friends. Services will be officiated by Rev. Earnest Smith, Pastor, Ellen Burr Baptist Church.
