Bobby Smith, 82 of Leesville, Louisiana was born
on November 19, 1938 in Leesville, Louisiana to his parents, Bill & Emma Cedars Smith. He passed away on March 16, 2021 in Alexandria after a long illness. He loved to hunt, fish and play golf. He was a Captain in the United States Army from
1961-1967 where he earned the Commendation Medal in 1963. He held various management jobs for Baker Hughes upon his retirement in 2005. He was a graduate from Leesville High School in 1956. He went to Louisiana State University where he played
football after an injury he then transferred to McNeese State University where he earned a
B.S in Geology. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Billye Eoff. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years Charlotte Emmons
Smith of Leesville, LA., sons:
Douglas Smith (Stacey) of Beaumont, TX.; Damon Smith (Sarah) of New Orleans, LA.; niece Lizabeth
Eoff of Fruitland Park, FL.; grandsons: Tyler R. Smith, Rhys A. Smith.
The family will
have a memorial service at a later date.
