Rita was born on April 16, 1935, to Harry and Elma Camino, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania.

She graduated from Brownsville High and nursing school of the United States Navy. She met Glen, her faithful husband of
63 years and the love of her life, at Moffet Field while proudly serving our country as a flight nurse.

She truly enjoyed service to others. Loving and caring for people as the heart and soul of San Dieguito High School for 35
years, as the midnight coffee lady at BJs Diner, and as the biscuit lady at Jack’s All Ya Need, brought her great joy. She pastored at Silver Creek and Calvary churches as well as The Woodlands Healthcare Center with her husband, Reverend Glen. She
was very proud to serve her town.

To know her is to know she loved people and people loved her. She loved everyone she met from the moment she met them with a soft heart, an easy way, an open ear, eternal kindness and ready
support, no matter the time, no matter the person. Ever the mother, she always had room in her heart, her arms and her kitchen for one more. She was and is and will continue to be an inspiration to all for her quiet unassuming strength and her humble
intelligence.

Mama, we love you more than we can say, to the moon and back, and we hope you are enjoying the waves and the sunset with Glen Jr. on Moonlight beach.

Left to cherish her memory is her
husband; Glen Thomas of Leesville, LA., son; Gary Thomas (Natalie) of Pitkin, LA., daughter; Glenna Gannon (Karl) of CO., brother; Frank Camino (Ginger) of OH., five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
