Locals receive Academic Honors at Louisiana College

Louisiana College Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Cheryl Clark, is pleased to announce the recipients of the College’s prestigious Academic Honors for the 2020-2021 academic year:
Allie Willis Campbell of Dry Creek is being recognized for receiving the L. E. Beatrice McKenzie May Scholarship Award. This award is given to an outstanding Education student in methods courses with high academic achievement and excellence in teaching.
Carson Porter of DeRidder is being recognized for receiving the Carroll Lowe Scholarship Award. This award is given to a native of Louisiana who has surrendered to the call of God to serve as a vocational Minister of Music in a Southern Baptist Church. The recipient must be of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing and have maintained a 3.0 GPA.
