Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft has announced the following arrests between Jan. 20 -23.

Jan. 20

Alvia Lynn Carter, 21, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of entry on or remaining on land or in place where forbidden and one count of Theft. Bond was set at $5,881. Carter remains in the VPSO Jail.

Jan. 21

Alex Lynn Woodell, 49, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Improper Telephone Communications. Bond was set at $2,000. Woodell has since posted bond and been released.

Jade Walker, 32, of DeRidder, was arrested on a Bench Warrant from Beauregard Parish. Walker was transferred to the Beauregard Parish Jail.

Jan. 23 

William K. Harrison, 64, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Simple Battery. Bond was set at $1,281. Harrison has since posted bond and been released.
