The Sabine Parish Chamber of Commerce and Sabine County Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host a three-day patriotic event on Toledo Bend Lake June 30-July 2.

This fun-filled weekend will include a poker run, patriotic boat parade, car shows, live concerts featuring Louisiana artists such as the LaCour Trio, and more.

The Poker Run will be held on Saturday, July 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Boats, cars and motorcycles are welcome to compete for prizes valued up to $1,500. Participants can visit up to 17 marinas and land stops around Toledo Bend on both the Louisiana and Texas side to collect unique stamps to make a five card poker hand which will be drawn at Lost Frontier RV Park and Marina in Hemphill, Texas, beginning at 2 p.m.

Participants can register online from now until June 30 or at any official Poker Run stop the day of the event. Early online registration fee is $35. The registration fee on the day of the event is $40.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the Pink Sisters of Many and American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars Aux Post 10351 of Hemphill.
