Funeral services for Emma Lea Hilton, 72, of Anacoco will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 at
the Prewitts Chapel Baptist Church in Hornbeck with Bro. D.R. Davis officiating. The burial will follow in the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may visit Friday, August 21, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, August 22 at 9
a.m. until the time of service at the church. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Miss Hilton passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Dubuis Hospital in Alexandria.
She
worked at the Commissary at Fort Polk; SouthWestern Bell in the 1950’s as a telephone operator and a health care provider for an invalid lady in Anacoco.
She is survived by her brother James C. Hilton of Anacoco; nieces Deanna Ellis
(Victor) of Anacoco, Debra Randolph (Perry) of Moss Bluff, and Sabrina Glaspie (David) of Hornbeck; in addition to numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Martin L. and Emmie S. Hilton and two sisters,
Gladys Baun and Lydia G. Hilton.
