Funeral services for Brandon Kyle Smith, 17, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 in the
First Baptist Church of Anacoco with Bro. D.R. Davis and C.W. Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held on Sunday,
November 22, 2009 from 3 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday in the church.
Kyle passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Huntsville, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Anacoco and Vernon
Parish until a year ago when he went to live with his grandmother in Huntsville. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He loved to fish and ride four-wheelers. He was a sophomore at Huntsville High School and also had attended Anacoco High
School. Kyle was a very loving and outgoing person who never met a stranger.
Kyle is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jo Ann Luke.
He is survived by his parents: Brian K. and Tracy Smith of Anacoco; one
brother, Kodey Smith of Anacoco; one sister: Brandy Smith of Anacoco; his grandparents, Dorothy Rhoden of Huntsville, Texas, A.J. Smith of Anacoco; and Virgil Luke of Laurel Miss.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
