Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Gumpoint Church, 5102 White Oak Hwy,
Branch for Jared Clay Areno, 33, who died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 8:10 a.m. at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Rev. Wayland Vincent will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
and Sunday from noon to service time with all visitation to be at Gumpoint Church. Burial will be in Prairie Ronde Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jared is survived by his wife, Trena Olivier Areno of Crowley; three daughters, Morgan, Karsyn
and Kinsly Areno all of Crowley; his parents, Dwight and Susan O. Areno of Anacoco; one sister, Jamie Green and her husband, Jason of Leesville; one brother, Caleb Areno of Leesville; his father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Glenda Olivier of
Swords; two sisters-in-law, Lacey Olivier of Carencro and Mandy Shealy and her husband, Jeff of Lumberton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Areno and Mr. and Mrs. John C.
Oubre.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Bailey, Mitch Pitre, Chris Kuhlmeyer, Scott Simon, Jeff Shealy, Mark Bertrand, Bill Yeats and Jason Green.
