Funeral services for Ronnie “Cowboy” Laurence, 57, of Toro, will be held
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Raymond Alford officiating. The burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Toro. Visitation will be Monday, June 28, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and
Tuesday, June 29 from 8 a.m. until time of service. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Cowboy was the son of Robert Lee and Ollie Ava Brown Laurence, Sr. He loved to fish, hunt and garden,
but most of all he truly loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Robert Lee Laurence, Jr., John D. Nash and Nona Nash and his grandson Baron Wayne Brister.
Ronnie is survived
by his daughters, Veronica (husband, Rodney) Dougherty of Rosepine, Monica (husband, Johnny) Brister of Anacoco and Lesa (husband, Landon) Self of Rosepine; five grandchildren, Shalyn Kirk Smith, Tyler Dean Williams, Nathanial Ryan Laurence, Harley
Shayne Brister and Peyton LeAnn Self; brothers, Jack Laurence, Danny Laurence, Donnie Laurence and Darrel Nash and his sisters, Kathy Rains and Shirley Behan; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
