Funeral services for Thomas “Tommy” Palmer, 45, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, in Leesville with the Rev. Lawrence Williams, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in
the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2010 at the funeral home and on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from
9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Tommy, the son of Lether Palmer and Rodessa Hale, was born on April 1, 1965 in Lake Charles. He passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in New Orleans. Mr. Palmer lived most of his life in
Leesville. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a landscaper and carpenter. Tommy loved fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Palmer and Luther Palmer, both of Florien; daughter, Alicia Palmer of Florien; mother, Rodessa Evans
of Leesville; brother, Lether Palmer of New Orleans; sisters, Marion Bryant of McKinney, Texas, Gwen Lincoln of Sacramento, Calif. and Valencia Matthews of Los Angeles, Calif. and one grandchild.
