Joseph Edward Reeves

Joseph Edward Reeves, known to his many friends and family as “Joey,”
passed away at his residence Thursday, January 6, 2011, at the age of 34. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 201,1 at 2 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville,.
Officiating will be Rev. Robbyn Hunt. Burial will
follow in Cryer Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will begin Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 2-10 p.m., will continue Monday, January 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday, from
8 a.m. until time of service in the chapel.
Joey is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Joe Reeves, his paternal grandparents, Ed and Janie Reeves, his maternal grandparents, J.T. Staggs and Evelyn Ross.
He is survived by
his wife Pamela; two sons, Dustin and Jacob; and one daughter, Janie Mae; his mother, Patricia Staggs Carlock; three sisters, Melody Reeves and fianceé Ronnie Arthur, Marlana Gill and husband Joel Gill, Lori Staggs; and brother-in-law, Joshua
Winslow, all of Leesville.
Joey was born and raised in the Pickering area. He had various jobs throughout the years, including S&M Produce and the Leesville Water Department. Joey loved the summer days he spent with his family and
friends going to the lake or just cooking on the grill at home. He was also very musically talented and loved his guitar. Joey had a unique sense of humor and could bring a smile to your face just being himself. He will be greatly missed by his
family and many friends.
