Funeral services for Juanita Jean Ross, 63, of Hornbeck, will be held at 1
p.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Hornbeck with the Rev. Bill Hines, Rev. Jack Bell and Rev. Ronny Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow in the Beckom Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral
Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service, Friday, February 11, 2011 at the church.
Juanita, the daughter of Coy Lee and Valerie Grafton Flurry, was born on March 19, 1947, in Ruston. She
passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at her residence in Hornbeck. Mrs. Ross worked at NASA as a secretary for 20 years; she then worked at the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office for three years. She loved to visit and spend time with her family
and friends. She was an active church member of First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, and she also served as a hostess on the Bereavement Committee.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Leonard Ross of Hornbeck; sons, Stephen Dale and
wife Amy of Crestview, Fla., Alan Dale Ross and wife, Gail of Bossier City and Bobby Lynn Ross and wife, Melissa of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Ann Cline and husband, John of Brandon, Miss.; mother and stepfather, Valerie and Ken Shelton
of Dubberly; sisters, Sharon Ward of Burlington, N.J. and Deborah Anderson of Mt. Laurel, N.J.; stepsister, Cindy Shelton of Minden; stepbrother, Gerry Shelton of San Francisco, Calif; and nine grandchildren.
