Funeral services for Dale Weaver, 73, of Anacoco will be held at 10 a.m. on
Dec. 14 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Tom Jordan officiating. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec.14, at Centuries Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the funeral home.
Dale was born on Aug. 22, 1938, in Bossier City. He passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, in Alexandria. Mr. Weaver was a professional lead guitarist for ten years
in Nashville; furthermore, he was the staff guitarist for the Louisiana Hay Ride. He retired from the U. S. Civil Service after 30 years. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to cook and loved music. He was passionate about working in his yard and
garden.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Odell Louviere; brother, Van Weaver and sister, Deena Louviere.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Weaver of Anacoco; son, Mark and Allison Weaver of Pineville;
daughters, Terri Weaver of Pineville, Paeton and Eric Burkett of Denham Springs, and Teri and Shon Stanley of Wasilla, Alaska; brother, Pat Louviere of Bossier City; and grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Tyler, Delaney, Matthew and Nicholas.
