Funeral services for Delma A.
Weaver Wilson, 84, of Leesville were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. C. W. Lawrence and Rev. Hank Hamilton officiating. Burial followed at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Friends
visited from 5-9 p.m. on Dec. 19 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service on Dec. 20 at the funeral home. ?Delma, the daughter of T.D. and S. L. Crain Weaver, was born on July 21, 1927, in Monroe. She passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the
Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Wilson worked as a cashier at the ABC Grocery, R & S Grocery, and Piggly Wiggly Grocery stores for a number of years. She also worked at the Vernon Bank and then worked as an administration
clerk for the Broyles Clinic and Byrd Regional Hospital. She truly loved reading a good book and loved her animals. She was a member of the Eastern Star Rebecca Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years,
Woodrow Wilson and her sister Vonie Chambless.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas and wife Lynette Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; daughters, Arlene Wilson Pawlak, Shirley Wilson and husband Malcolm Morris, all of Leesville; brothers, C. L. and
wife Betty Weaver of Alberta, Canada, Tom and Mary Weaver of Kingwood, Texas; grandchildren, Tammy Araiza, Curtis Wilson, Lisa Grimes, Lacy Johnson, Logan Morris, Kanon Morris, Jimbo Wilson, Pete Wilson, Joey Wilson, Christi Williams, Cindy Welch,
Jerry Welch and Michael Welch; 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces and many friends.
