Funeral services for Jimmie Haddox, 93, of Leesville will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 12 at St. Michaels The ArcAngel Catholic Church in Leesville with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery in
Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2012 at the funeral home with a rosary being held at 6 p.m.
Jimmie was born on May 27, 1918, in
Shreveport. He passed away on Jan. 9, 2012, in Alexandria.
Mr. Haddox was a native of Shreveport. He had lived in Leesville for the past 65 years. He was a former funeral director for the Dennis Funeral Home of Leesville. He then owned
Brady Florist and Gift Shop for many years and worked for the state of Louisiana as a supervisor of State Licensing Board of Contractors until his retirement. He was a member of St. Michaels the ArcAngel Catholic Church. He was the First Grand Knight
of the Knights of Columbus Council 4156.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Koury Haddox.
He is survived by his sons, James E. Haddox Jr. and wife Paula of Jourdanton, Texas, Michael L. Haddox and wife, Lynn of Picayune,
Miss.; daughter, Sara Haddox of Leesville; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
