Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Mae Doyle will be held at 1 p.m. on March
15 in Freedom Baptist Church in the Plainview Community with Revs. Robert McLane and Jeff James officiating. Interment will follow in Occupy #1 Cemetery in Pitkin under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Mrs. Doyle, 84, of
Glenmora entered eternal rest on March 12, 2012 in Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Clifford Netherland; one son, John Larry Netherland; her parents, Elton and Edna Jackson and six
brothers, Elton Jackson, Jr., Beldon Jackson, John Robert Jackson, James Jackson, Gerald Wayne Jackson and Chris Jackson.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of 56 years, former Rapides Parish
School Board Member, Kenneth Doyle of Glenmora; one son, David C. Netherland and his wife, Judy of Greenwell Springs; two brothers, Murrell Jackson of Simpson and Billy Wayne Jackson of Pineville; one sister, Sue Johnson of Hornbeck; eight
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-10 p.m. on March 14 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service on March 14 at Freedom Baptist Church in the Plainview Community.
