Funeral services for Charles H. Ford, 65, of Leesville will be held at noon
on Sept. 15, at Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ. Elder Maurice Johnson and Elder Jerry Taylor will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Sept. 15 at the church.
Charles, the son of Jessie Ford and Mary Lee Ford Jones, was born on Jan. 12, 1947, in Leesville. He passed away on Sept. 3, 2012, in
Leesville.
He is survived by his best friend and companion of 23 years, Helen White; one son, Charles D. Ford (GooGoo); one daughter, Shawanda Ford (Angel); one stepson, James White (wife, Bridget); two stepdaughters, Sabrina White and
Eulanda Whitehead (husband, Frederick); 11 grandchildren, Danique Ensley, Demetrius Ensley, Sharniquia White, Kiyontre White, ShaTonna White, Africa Whitehead, Asia Whitehead, Malaysia Whitehead, Ajaney White, Treyrone White, Davine Price’ Brook and
three great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers, Jessie Ford, Jr., (wife, Debbie), Alvin Ford (wife, Nancy), Freddie Ford, and Robert Ford, all of Arizona; six sisters, Theda Brothers (husband, Leo), Maxine Horne (husband,
J. McClain), Ernestine Booker (husband, Ronnie), Jean McDuffie (husband, Al), all of Arizona and Gail Richardson of Atlanta; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
