Varnie Mae Fox Harralson

Funeral services for Varnie Mae Fox Harralson, 80, of Anacoco, will be held
at 2 p.m. on April 28 at the Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Burr Ferry.
Burial will follow in the Plunkaway Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held 5-9
p.m. on April 27 at the funeral home.
Varnie, the daughter of Horace E. and Mellie Taylor Fox, was born April 22, 1933, in Colfax.
She passed away on April 25, 2013, at Rosepine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in
Rosepine.
Mrs. Harralson’s favorite past time was reading the Bible.
For the past 38 years, Mrs. Harralson was faithful, using Bible pathway, reading through the Bible at least once or twice a year.
She loved her
family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alton Fox and sisters, Viola F. Morris, Nell F. Nix, Beatrice Fox and Vera Self.
Mrs. Harralson is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wesley Harralson of Anacoco; son,
Thomas Wesley Harralson and wife, Sherry C.; daughters, Brenda Gail H. Buxton and husband, Jackie W. of Anacoco, and Joyce Faye H. McDonald & husband, Willie L. of Anacoco; brother, Elton Fox of Pasadena, Texas; sisters, Vonnee F. Kay of
Leesville and Edie F. Mitchell of Leesville; grandchildren, Tanya Page, Tracey McDonald, Alex Buxton, Candace Harralson, Terry McDonald, Tyler Harralson & David Harralson; five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
