Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Weaver Hall will
be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church, 2241 Slagle Loop, Leesville, La. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Services of Leesville.
Visitation will start on
Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 from 5-10 p.m. and again on Thursday at 9 a.m. until service time in the church.
Mrs. Hall was born on July 24, 1931 in Buna, Texas, to Henry and Marie Weaver Piatre and passed away on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015 at the
age of 84 in Alexandria, La. She had lived most of her life in the Slagle community where she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She loved to sew and quilt with the ladies of the Slagle Senior Center and had served as a voting
commissioner for many years at Slagle. She was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church until her health failed and she could no longer attend.
Preceding her in death were her husband William “Dub” Hall, parents: Henry and Marie Piatre
and siblings.
Survived by Sons: Rodger Ladner of Slagle, La., William Charles Hall and wife Wanda of Slagle, La., Terry Hall and wife Trina of Indiana
Daughters: Joyce Alexander and husband Allen of Leesville, Regina Hernandez
and husband Gabriel of Leesville.
Thirteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
