Funeral services for Harriet H. “Anita” Ayres, 69,
of Hornbeck, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at the Galilee Baptist Church in Evans. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Wednesday,
Sept. 2, from 4 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Anita, the daughter of Theron and Mary Ethel Young Willis, was born April 12, 1946, Evans, Louisiana. She passed away at her residence in Hornbeck, Monday, Aug. 31, 2015.
Mrs. Ayres loved gardening and fruit trees. She loved her family.
She is survived by her sons, James Holloway & wife, Kathy of Hornbeck, LA, and Jimmy Presteridge of Bunkie, LA; daughters, Theresa Holloway of Texas and Carolyn
Knippers & Robert Andrew of Florien, LA; brother, Daniel Willis of Crockett, TX; sisters, Jackie Mahar of Crockett, TX, and Donna Smiley of West Cliff, CO, and numerous grandchildren.
