Danny L. Casey, Jr., 55, of Shreveport succumbed
to cancer on December 18, 2015, at 2:40 a.m in Shreveport.
He was born April 26, 1960 in Ulm, Germany. Danny was long-time resident of Vernon parish but had spent the last 15 years of his life in Caddo parish with his wife, Clara Michel
Casey.
Danny was a family man and was very proud of his children and grand girls. His grand girls were his world. Danny worked in construction his entire life – loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and story telling
He was
preceded in death by his father: Danny L. Casey; mother: Lorena Crawford; sister: Linda Owens and brother: Gary Casey.
Survivors include his loving wife: Clara Michel Casey: Son: Danny L. Casey, III; Daughter: Shyla Casey and husband
Allen Gouthier; Daughter: Danica Reibold and husband Roy Reibold; like a son: Shane Boycher: grandchildren: Faithlyn, Kylie, Kadence, Payton and Casey; brothers: Bill and Rose Perkins, Mickey and Sandy Perkins and Myron Carlo Casey; stepmother: Phug
Kim Casey: numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 22nd at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering, under
the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec 21st, at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM then Tuesday, Dec. 22nd from 8 am until service time in the funeral home
