David Ernest Williams passed on to be with our heavenly father on February 8, 2016 surrounded by family and friends at his side. Though he was blind, he would lift his eyes up to heaven while he played his guitar. Effortlessly strumming
the chords, he felt the music and love of God through his very soul.
He is survived by his loving wife Jacalyn of 9 years; his previous wife, Joy Knutson and their son, Evan; daughter-in-law, Tabitha; grandchildren Kieran and Persephone;
his brother, Michael; and nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Satsu and his half sister, Sherry Hays Clark.
His faith in God, love of music and family and his great sense of humor will be
remembered by us all. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Fender Music Foundation to continue the legacy of his love for the arts and Fenders.
