Funeral Services for Earnest Cornell Williams will
be at noon, Saturday. April 30, 2016 at the New Willow Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Harrison Fields, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the direction of Melancon Funeral Home,
Bunkie.
Visitation will be at the New Willow Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Mr. Williams, age 61, of Alexandria, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at CHRISTUS St. Frances
Cabrini Hospital. He was a retired state employee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mattie Harris Williams and his brother, Otis Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Claretha Hawkins Williams of Alexandria; two
step-daughters, LaJuana (Darryl) Stephens of Shreveport and Debra Franklin of Monroe; two sisters, Lorraine Fields and husband, Harrison, of Leesville and Irene W. Simmons of Leesville; two brothers, Franklin R. Williams and wife, Joyce M., of
Alexandria and George Williams and wife, Sylvia, of Havre, Md. and two step-granddaughters, Alise and Madison Stephens.
