Carl “Prentiss” Poarch, the son of James and
Margie Powell Poarch, was born on January 10, 1945, in Jefferson County, Ala. He passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, in Leesville.
A private memorial service will held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of
Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and great-grandson, Sabastian.
He is survived by his siblings, Gail Wright & husband, David of Bronson, Texas, Joan Snell & husband,
Van of Hornbeck, Jimmy Poarch & wife, Judy of Grovetown, Ga., Gary Poarch & wife, Vonda of Hornbeck, Bob Poarch & wife, Betty of Fisher, and Glen Poarch & wife, Becky of Hornbeck; three children, CD, Ben and Carla; nine grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He will be missed by his fur babies, Sadie his faithful companion and his two ugly cats.
