Services for Chris Sandell, 86, of Leesville were held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, with the Rev. C.M. Kelly officiating. Visitation
was Saturday, October
29, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hornbeck.
Mr. Sandell went to be with the Lord October 27, 2016. He was born December 25, 1929 to Alvin
and Lela Sandell in
Hornbeck.
Mr. Sandell was of the Baptist faith, and played the fiddle. He liked basketball, puzzles and all
games, but, he loved bingo. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Mr. Sandell was preceded
in death by his parents, Alvin and Lela Sandell, two sisters and seven
brothers.
Those left to cherish his memory are one brother, Talmadge Sandell, and three sisters, Lela Mae
Evans, Una Lea Savell and Veral
Hutchison.
