Winnon Ray Hall

Winnon Ray Hall, 89, passed from this life on
November 17, 2016.
Winnon was a life-long resident of Louisiana with roots that ran deep within this area. Winnon went to work in the Army as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a carpenter for many years, then he was a truckdriver hauling
wood to the papermills until his retirement from the State of Louisiana
Highway Department.
He was Baptist by his faith and had a strong personal relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ. Winnon was a kind, gentle man who was
loved and adored by all who knew him.
Winnon was preceded in death by his parents, James Norris Hall and Blanche Geohagen Hall; a brother, Burnice “B.B.” Hall; an infant brother and daughter, James Dale Hall and Doris Jean Hall. Winnon
was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Carroll Hall.
Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Herman Hall and wife Regina of Rosepine;
three daughters, Kathleen Williams and husband J.D., Jeanie Mayes and
husband Fred, and Carolyn Watts, all of Rosepine. Winnon was blessed to have had 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him dearly.
The Hall Family received friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 5-9 p.m.
at Hixson Funeral Home –DeRidder.
Funeral services will be on Sunday November 20, 2016 at 2 p.m.at Hixson Funeral Home – DeRidder, Chapel. Pastor Johnny Johnson will officiate. Interment will be held in Rosepine Cemetery.
