A memorial mass for Irene Brunet will be held
Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 11:00 A.M at Saint Michael Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville.

Irene, the daughter of Friedolin and Katherine Gunther was born July 25, 1941, in Erlensee, West Germany. Irene passed away
February 2, 2018, at the age of 76 in Leesville, Louisiana

Irene married her husband Dan on May 15,1958, and they shared their lives in the military and settled in Leesville in 1968 to raise their two girls.

Throughout her life Irene was a loving, devoted and extraordinary daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Irene’s special gift was that she never met a stranger and could talk and make friends with anyone.
She was also a great cook and loved it when she was able to feed you one of her wonderful meals.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dan.

Irene leaves to cherish her memories her
daughters, Yvonne Endris and friend Dennis Henschen of Pana, Illinois, Debbie and husband Charles “Buddy” Blackman of Leesville; grandson MSGT Daniel and wife Lindsey Endris of Offut AFB Nebraska; sisters, Lottie Dalen and husband Larry of Maryland,
Renata of Germany; special niece Brenda and husband John of North Carolina; “special sister” Marianne Hood of Leesville and her beloved little dog Rosie.

My sister and I would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jose Mathew,
the ICU Staff and 2nd floor nurses of Byrd Hospital. She loved you all and to the Woodlands, Loretta and Kim. She loved you girls.
