Marc Anthony Watson, 54, of Silsbee, passed away
Friday, July 27, 2018, at a Beaumont area hospital. He was born April 27, 1964, in Arlington, TX. He was an avid sports fan; some of his favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, LSU and the Longhorns. He also played basketball in high
school. Marc loved reading; his favorite subjects were the Civil War and anything to do with statistics. He always enjoyed taking trips to Galveston and riding on the ferry. Marc had a great sense of humor; he made everyone laugh and he always made a
friend wherever he went. He was a good husband and he loved his family, including his eight fur children, which he spoiled.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Watson; mother, Janell Kennedy and grandparents, Roy and
Vina Kennedy.
Marc is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Jennifer Watson of Silsbee; children, Kyle Watson and fiancé, Valerie of New Boston, TX, Erin Watson of New Boston, TX; granddaughter, Kiara Roberts of New Boston, TX;
mother-in-law, Rebecca Reid of Silsbee; siblings, Gregory Watson and wife, Beth of Curso, NC, Kimberly Watson, of Hicks, LA, Phyllis Lawing and husband, Dickie of Arlington, TX, Steven Bailey and wife, Melissa of Azle, TX, and Jon Bailey and wife,
Larie of Azle, TX; uncle, Alford Kennedy and wife, Joann of Deridder, LA; sister-in-law, Kimberly Gebhart and husband, John of Lumberton; brothers-in-law, Chris Isom and wife, Kristie of Frisco, TX, and Phillip Isom and wife, Felisia of San Antonio;
nephews, Gavin Gebhart of Lumberton, and Nicholas Isom of Frisco, TX, nieces, Alissa Isom of San Antonio, and Aubrey Isom of San Antonio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Farmer
Funeral Home, Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018, at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA, officiated by Sister Lorraine Smith.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Watson, Gregory Watson, Justin Palmer, Chris Isom, Ed Rodriguez and Steve Bouton. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Levenier and G.W. Weatherly.
