Funeral services for Linda W. James, 71, of
Leesville, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Pine Hill Baptist Church of Leesville with Rev. Tri Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Leesville.

Visitation will be
Friday, November 23, from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the church.

Linda was born on July 29, 1947 in Columbia, South Carolina to her parents, Billy J & Lucy James Wallace. She passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in The
Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville.

She loved her family and the Lord. Family and friends would remember her by her favorite saying “I love you more”. She was always making people smile and you knew she loved life and
the people around her. She played the piano for her church, enjoyed making jewelry and painting. She worked for Cubic for 20 years until she retired her co-workers would call her “Linda Hunny or Smiley”

Linda was preceded in
death by her parents, granddaughter; Megan Barnett.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Phillip James of Leesville, LA, daughters; Alicia (Tyrel) Young of Leesville, LA., Regina (Larry) McCall of Mechanicsville, IA.,
stepsons; Clint James, Lewis (Sherry) James both of Leesville, LA., stepdaughter; Lola (Tony) Brown of Leesville, LA., sister; Renee’ Barton of Lampasas, TX., brothers; Wally (Tammie) Wallace of Youngsport, TX., Jeff (Leihua) Walllace of Euless, TX.,
grandchildren; Mechelle (Daniel) Juneau, MacKenzie Krenek, Jessica Kennedy, Justin James, Jared James, Talon Brown, Tayla Brown, Josh McCall, seven great-grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

In
lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pine Hill Baptist Church in Leesville.
