Funeral services for John Earl Dowden, 83, of
Leesville, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. C.W. Dowden, Rev. J. R Dowden & Rev. Clyde Dowden Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in
Leesville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
John is preceded in death by his parents John Harvey & Ollie Legg Dowden, wife; Fredonia Dowden, son; Randy Ray Dowden,
brothers; Kenneth Dowden, Thomas Dowden, sister; Margie Nash.
Left to cherish his memory is son; Rickey Earl Dowden of Leesville, LA., brothers; Clyde Dowden of Pitkin, LA., Hardy Dowden & Lamar Dowden both of Leesville, LA., sister;
Mildred Bingaman of Leesville, LA., grandchildren; Fredonna Walker (Glenn) of North Little Rock, AR., Darren Dowden of Mansville, TX., Dennis Dowden (Katie) Groton, CT., Kenny Dowden (Reagan) of Owassa, OK., and 6 great grandchildren.
