Funeral services for Mable Masters Dowden Grafton,
89, of Hornbeck, LA, will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Prewitt’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Hilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 5:00
PM at Prewitt’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Mable Masters Dowden Grafton was born on Saturday, August 30, 1930 in Florien, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence in Hornbeck, LA.

She
was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny James Masters and Letitia Ida Chance; husband, L. C. Dowden; brothers and sisters: Vera Lewing, Tilton Masters, Carlton Masters, Ray Masters, Myrtle White and John Billy Masters.

She
is survived by her husband, James D. Grafton of Hornbeck, LA: children: Nathan Joe “Butch” Dowden and wife Lisa of Anacoco, LA, Johnny Ray Dowden and wife Melody of Hornbeck, LA, David D. Dowden and wife Glenda of Robeline, LA, Penny Ronayne and
husband Kenneth of Ragley, LA and Candy Josey and husband Mike of Hornbeck, LA; step-children: Teresa Grafton of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Robert P. Grafton and wife Tammy of Anacoco, LA; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; five
great-great grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Mary Farmer of Belmont, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearer: Scotty Dowden, Matt Dowden, Duane Dowden, Dusty Josey, Matt Allain and Jeff
Gill.
