Shannon Kuuipo Milerski, 49, passed away on
Monday, May 10, at her home in New Llano, LA.

She was born on January 12 of 1972 at Ft Polk, LA. She was the daughter of Stephanie and Siegfried Milerski, who have preceded her in death.

Shannon was a
loving and compassionate person whose laugh was infectious, and smile was warming and inviting when she spoke with you. Shannon enjoyed listening to music especially love songs and watching girly love story movies. Baking was a passion she truly
enjoyed and was very good at, and it warmed her heart to see and hear how much you enjoyed what she made.

Shannon never had children of her own. However, she enjoyed spending time and caring for her numerous nieces and nephews.
She also loved being on the lake fishing; she’d always say how peaceful it made her feel to be out there to watch the sun set.

We will always remember her infectious laugh and smile and caring personality. Her presence in our
lives will greatly be missed.

When you think of Shannon, please celebrate the good memories you had with her and remember that life is fragile and short and should always be lived to the fullest.

Funeral mass for Shannon Kuuipo Milerski will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021
at 10:30 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2021 with a rosary at 6:00 PM, and again on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 9:30 AM until the mass.
