The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Leesville Mardi Gras Parade will be making its return to the community next month. The parade is set to roll through historic downtown Leesville on Feb. 26.

The Chamber is encouraging those interested in participating in the parade to sign up in advance for a float space. Entry spots in the parade are 30-foot long, and it should be noted that horses are not permitted in the parade.

The registration fee is $30, and if more than 30 feet of space is needed it is recommended that additional entry spots be purchased from the chamber.
