The Leesville community is set to get a new place to shop for tools. Harbor Freight Tools has announced they are planning to open a store in Leesville. The store is estimated to bring about 30 jobs to the local community. Jobs available include, but are not limited to sales and logistic supervisors, senior associates, and sales associates.

The new store will be located at 900 N 5th Street. While there is no official opening date yet, the store is set to open this spring. A date for the grand opening will be announced at a future time.

“We’ve been looking to open a location in Leesville for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous value to the community,” said Trey Feiler, senior vice president, real estate and construction for Harbor Freight Tools. “In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Leesville area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”

According to Harbor Freight, construction has begun on the location. Harbor Freight also noted that they are using local workers and companies from the Leesville area for the construction of the store.
