A memorial service for Tamara Renee White of Anacoco, La., will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Visitation at 12 p.m., with service beginning at 2 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, La. Tammy White was born on May 28, 1968 and went home to our heavenly father on June 8, 2022 at the age of 54.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John White and Barbara (Clark) White; grandparents, Robert and Leah (Compton), Jackson and Huey and Vera Lee (Sanders) Clark. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Summer White and Skyler White of Florida; and grandson, Logan; sister, Christi and husband Dale Fanning of Mississippi; niece, Shellye and her three children; aunts, Jackie Jackson and Elizabeth and husband Horace Roberts of Anacoco, La.; and many other close friends and family.
Tammy had a colorful and adventurous life. She spent much of her life living in both Philadelphia, Miss., and Anacoco, La., where she made many close friends and spent time loving and caring for her family. Tammy had struggles in life and would at times chase excitement and adventure a bit too much, but she always tried to keep a positive spirit and a great sense of humor. She also had a love for botany and numbers. Tammy was known for being the life of the party just as much as a caregiver for those in need. She was known for her kindness and generosity, even when she was struggling herself. Her beliefs in giving to others and loyalty to those she cared for were always her motivation for her life’s path. Sometimes her life was hard and her struggles seemed to win, but she always found her way back to those she loved using her determination and strong will as well as her fighting and generous spirit.
For those who knew her, she will be so missed and our lives will be just a little duller without her in it.
