Funeral services for Sandra Lynn Crosby Baggs will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Hornbeck with Reverend John Lewing officiating.
Burial will follow in Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Rawls, Cade Jarrell, Cody Jarrell, Garrett Farmer, Devin Buterbaugh, and Cole O’Con. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
Sandra was born July 19, 1945, in Leesville, La. to the Rev. T. J. and Geraldine Crosby.
She was the eldest of four children. Sandra went to the with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at the age of 77. She was surrounded by family at her home.
Sandra met the love of her life, Kenneth, and they married on Jan. 3, 1964. The unconditional love demonstrated through their 54 years of marriage together took them on a life journey of God’s ministry. Sandra used her love of singing and piano playing for the glory of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sr.; son, Kenneth Jr.; parents, T.J. and Geraldine Crosby; and brother, Clayton Crosby.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kimdall Baggs and wife Tonya of Many, La., Zondra Bayne and husband Scott of Haughton, La., Dena Jarrell and husband Eric of Hornbeck, La., and Kelvin Baggs and wife Keri of Hornbeck; daughter-in-law, Ellen Baggs of Hornbeck; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sonja Miller of Apison, Tenn.; and brother, Craig Crosby of DeRidder, La.
We would like to say a special thank you to her two caregivers, grandkids Terri and LeAnn McPherson. They cared for, loved, and spoiled Mom daily.
