Daniel “Dan” Joseph Bolgiano, 90, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023 peacefully at home in Wilmington, Del. with his loving wife and three children by his side. 

Dan was born the oldest of four children to Annie (Scarber) and Joseph Clinton Bolgiano in Leesville, La. on March 11, 1933. He was married to his sweetheart, Phyllis Ann (Clipper) for 69 years. He was a loving father to Scott Bolgiano (Cristel) of Rockville, Md., Teri Kennedy (Gary) of Wilmington, Del., and Lynn Jansen (John) of Melbourne Beach, Fla.. Dan, also known as “Pop” and “Poppy” cherished his eight grandchildren, Christopher (Ali), Collin (Samantha), Casey (Amber), Brendan, Jet, Samantha (Patrick), Ashleigh, and Jack, and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church, 5320 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720.
