Funeral services for William C. “Bill” Partin, Jr., 65, of Simpson were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Carol Adams officiating. The burial followed in the Welcome
Cemetery in Simpson under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Partin passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at his residence in Simpson.
He was a native and life long resident of Vernon Parish. Bill retired
as a heavy equipment operator with the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Wagner of Jackson, Miss. and Billy Partin of Simpson; daughters, Rose Perkins of Anacoco, and
Melissa Brookins of Katy, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Myron Wayne Partin, Glenn Stewart and Milton Ray Partin.
