7/5: Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office arrests

Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft announced the following recent arrests within the parish:

Mary Duet Chauvin, 38, of Leesville, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction bench warrant from Houma. Chauvin remains in the VPSO Jail awaiting transfer.

Michael Alan Chamberlain, 54, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic abuse aggravated assault. Chamberlain remains in the VPSO Jail with no bond set.

Michael John Keller, 51, of Simpson, was arrested and charged with one count of disturbing the peace/simple assault, one count of aggravated 2nd degree battery, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of illegal carrying of weapons. Keller remains in the VPSO Jail with no bond set.

Maria Cheyenne Williams, 27, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of simple obstruction of a highway, one count of careless operation, one count of threatening a public official, and one count of licensee must give notice of change of address. Williams remains in the VPSO Jail with no bond set.

Steven Anthony Brown, 40, of Hineston, was arrested and charged with one count of illegal possession of a stolen firearm. Brown remains in the VPSO Jail.

Gene Dewayne Moras, 46, of Glenmora, was arrested and charged with one count of assault on a child welfare worker and cyberstalking. Moras was booked into the VPSO Jail with bond set at $6,000.

Destiny Sharee Carter Gulbrandsen, 24, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of illegal possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of a firearm or carrying of a concealed weapon by a felon. She was booked into the VPSO Jail with bond set at $35,000. A detainer for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole has also been placed on Gulbrandsen and she remains in custody.

Matthew C. Luttrull, 23, of DeRidder, was arrested on an outstanding probation bench warrant. Luttrull must pay $2,403 in delinquent probation fines and fees or serve 6 months in the parish jail.

Celeste D. Rhodes, 45, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, one count of possession of marijuana, one count of resisting an officer, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Rhodes was booked into the VPSO Jail with bond set at $9,422.

Samuel Olivarez II, 28, of Baytown, Texas, was arrested and charged with one count of contractors; misapplication of payments. He was booked into he VPSO Jail with bond set at $25,000.

Annie Stewart Cummings, 68, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of a Schedule II narcotic (methamphetamine). Cummings remains in the VPSO Jail with no bond set.

Austin Blake Martin, 25, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic abuse battery- aggravated 2nd degree and one count of cruelty to the infirmed. Martin was booked into the VPSO Jail with no bond set.
