Two earn Outstanding Field awards

Simpson’s Reagan Clutter and Hicks’ Connor Harper won Outstanding Field awards at the Region II-C Meet held Tuesday afternoon at Hackberry High School.

Clutter won first place in both the high jump and long jump, took second place in the 200-meter dash and was third overall in the 100-meter dash, qualifying for the Class C state meet at LSU in all four events.

Harper claimed first place in the high jump, triple jump and 100-meter dash, while also taking second place in the long jump, also qualifying for the state meet in four events.
