National Guard soldier dies in Alexandria

The Louisiana National Guard announces the death of a Louisiana Army National Guard Soldier on Sunday.
Sgt. William Mitchell Benham, 32, of Folsom died Sept. 15 in Alexandria.
Benham was assigned as a fire team leader to A Company, 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. He was in Title 32 status conducting inactive duty training at Fort Johnson.
The incident is under investigation by the Fort Johnson Criminal Investigations Division.
